Modern external shutters are designed for both new construction and existing buildings.
They are available in three refined box variants: single-piece, two-piece, and rondo.
They can be produced with an integrated roller insect screen, available only with 165 mm or 180 mm boxes, where form and function achieve perfect balance.

Guides
Guides for all Mrak shutters are sized 53×22 mm and are made of PVC, with the option of aluminum upon request. The bottom slat is made of aluminum in both cases.
The bottom slat can also be ordered with a locking system, providing additional protection against break-ins.

Lamella
Slats for all types of PVC shutters are identical and made from high-quality imported material with UV protection.

Aluminum slats are sourced from well-known European manufacturers and are filled with polyurethane foam to ensure maximum energy efficiency and effective noise insulation.

Drive
The standard operation for all Mrak shutters is manual with a 14 mm strap, with optional upgrades to a crank mechanism or a motor operated by a switch, with or without remote control.

Built-in roller shutter
Mrak built-in roller shutters are a high-quality product with an attractive design. This type of shutter is ideal for installation together with windows during the construction of new buildings or the renovation of existing ones.
They are specifically designed to be installed exclusively alongside window systems.
The box dimensions of built-in shutters are 204×194 mm, and the integrated insulation within the box provides excellent thermal performance for your home or commercial space.
They are also easy to maintain, as the box can be conveniently opened from the interior side of the building.

Under-facade

Concealed roller shutter
Under-facade roller shutters are installed after the windows are fitted, but before the façade is completed, which makes them ideal for new construction, as prior planning is required to integrate them into the design.
This type of shutter can be “hidden” from the interior, provided there is sufficient space above the window. This is typically achieved by creating a recess above the opening where the shutter box is placed.
They can also be manufactured with an integrated roller insect screen, but only in combination with 165 mm or 180 mm boxes. After installation, the shutter is covered by the façade, making it virtually invisible.
The lower part of the shutter box is accessible from the outside for servicing if needed.
Under-facade roller shutters protect your joinery, and therefore your entire interior, from all external climate conditions. They shield against rain and snow, block excessive heat and harmful UV radiation in summer, and retain valuable warmth inside the home during winter. At the same time, they provide privacy while effectively reducing noise and unwanted views.
